A foldable pastel orange umbrella to fight the heat and rain. My tiny but colorful chocolate birthday cake =) Thank you for such lovely presents.

for my bday, somebody painted this in watercolor for me as a gift. sweet. I’ll post the watercolor version soon.

i’m being such a narcissistic freak - posting all these pics of myself. It’s just that it’s super raining outside and i can’t leave until all this crazy weather clears up. And the only pics I have are these. Ha! the one’s i really wanted to post are on my cell phone.

but anyway, what i really wanted to say is - the entire future is still so unsure and vague and unclear. But i’m diving right into whatever comes with an open heart and an open mind.

there’s been a lot of changes. i spend less time on the internet - which i realized, makes me more productive. I serve God every week as a psalmist. And i still keep my usual Sunday job as a weekend radio jock. So everything just fell into place. And I can’t help but smile inside.

Look at what I did at work! There was a lone paper clip sitting on my table top, a barely-used white board, a black marker begging to be used and colorful bracelets on my wrist. Add boredom and sleepiness to that and TADA! I became really cheesy and came up with this.

My latest creation. I wanted doing this to become a hobby but it never did become a hobby to me. I’m always constrained with either time, inspiration, motive or materials. I only get myself to pick up the paint brush and smother it on paint then arrange it on canvas whenever I feel the need to give an extra special gift to an extra special person to me.

I always start a painting frustrated and doubting I could ever finish it. In the middle of my little project, I get lost in my art that I’d forget time passing by. And whenever I finish one, I’d be amazed at how I actually got myself to achieve what I initially wanted to achieve. And then I’d thank God for what I can do.

this is what you call, creative chaos. i thrive in that. OR, that’s just my petty excuse for being disorganized. =P

I’d like to think I’m a kid at heart. Not childish. Just a kid at heart. Someone who’d prefer cartoons over love story flicks.hehehe

Those moments when you weren’t looking. You weren’t paying attention. And then you look back and realize how precious and beautiful that moment was.

Lit candles. Somehow, they make you believe your prayers and wishes could come true.

i like them COOKED in any way: boiled, half-boiled, poached, sunny side up, scrambled, omelet and whatever else recipes were invented to cook these things.

reminds me…i’ve never tried easter egg hunts before, nor have i tried painting easter eggs…

i’d like to regress and give those a try before i turn 30.
