This is my life now. Full time nurse - like what I prayed for. Everyday is an adventure. Every few months I am plucked out of a comfort zone from one area and placed in a new area where I know nothing of what to do - where you’ll have to develop another working relationship with new people, work with new diseases, new cases, new medications, new work processes. It’s an adventure. And I am a chameleon. I flex, I adapt, I morph whenever needed.  I’d rather look at it that way than nag about how stressful everything is. And it’s working pretty well for me. 

But I know I’m not meant to stay here forever. There will be greater things.

so i climbed mountains and saw how beautiful this world is and how exhilarating it is to reach the summit a midst all the huffs and puffs and sore muscles. =) i am loving being a mountaineer. im’a do it again. and again. and again.

i happen to live in an island with so many beautiful places to explore. You’ll never run out of places to frolic in. like this one place here. Not many people know about it. But i’ll conquer THIS next month. I promise. =) 

PIt Senyor!!! THe 7th day of novena today. I’m pretty sure I’ll survive all the experience of squeezing-in-between-mounds-of-people-parts-of-one-humungous-crowd till the 9th day. SINULOG happens in four days. It’s the greatest, grandest festival in the Philippines. I still have no idea how to spend that day.

University of San Carlos College of Nursing Building. Talamban Campus, Cebu City.

This is where I went to school. Pretty friggin’ far from where I live. You could just imagine how much tardiness loved me.

Back when I was in 2nd year college, this was the newest buiding in the campus. I was a student body officer. I remember having a meeting with the dean once.  I was my usual blabber self. I complained to our dean regarding the painting job on our new building. I said it was only partially done. SHe only nodded.

It was only later on that I found out the building was in fact completely painted. THe whole leave-some-parts-unpainted thing was actually some raw form of architectural design that our school was adopting.

DUMBO me. Embarassed me. No wonder she just nodded. 

Tonight, GIRLFRIENDS and I poured our hearts and minds out along with Cinnamon Cappuccino and Macchiatto. I love where I live. It’s near McDonalds, Pizza Parlors, A Mall, A convenience store, A wet Market, The MOst DELISH siomai stand, Goldilocks, restaurants, bakeries, A Church AND of course, chill out coffee shops like Kafaye and La COffea. I couldn’t ask for more - other than a much more cooler weather. I’m kind of sick and tired of the pesky HEAT. Makes me sweat like a pig all day. =(

P.S - I love where I live ‘coz its peaceful and quiet. PLUS - its just a 5 to 10-minute drive away to four of my best friends’ homes. =) I have lots of reasons to be happy. AYt?

I live near this place.  SOmetimes i get annoyed that it’s not Jollibee. But I really don’t mind seeing my ‘waiter-crush’ in there who i discovered during my birthday last year.

I have an unending fascination for the sky and it’s limitless show of beauty.

this was a super happy day! that’s why i’m posting it. i wish we could do it all over again.
